The album hit stores today (the first night of Hanukkah) and includes an acoustic version of the now viral single, “World on Fire”. The album is also accompanied by the band’s follow up music video for their second single, “Chicki Boom”, directed by Jonty Fine and produced by Bancs Media.
Moshav will be touring the record throughout the holiday season, debuting songs off “New Sun Rising” as well as their recently released all Hebrew album dubbed, “Shabbat Vol. 1”.

“This record is very special to us and brings us back to our childhood on the Moshav, and reconnects us to those very special Shabbat’s with Reb Shlomo in the small shul packed with family & Chevra singing and dancing late into the Friday nights. Duvid & I recorded this CD at our home studio here in Los Angeles and tried to give it a very raw vibe, kind of like we’re all just hanging out again and jamming on the Moshav.
The graphic on the CD is also a very simple drawing by our Moshav artist/friend Yitzchak Ben Yehuda of the early days on Moshav Mevo Modi’in which again brings us back to those special times when and where it all started. We hope you’ll all enjoy it as much as we did while making it”.

We just picked up our pre-release copies of Shabbat Vol. 1…. drawings by Yitshak Ben Yehuda and graphic design by Erez Safar. We will be flying to South Africa tonight to debut songs from the album live in Cape Town and Johannesburg! Get ready!
For Moshav’s second video in their ‘Acoustic Sessions’ series filmed at Studio Bancs, they filmed “Harachaman/Sukat Shalom” in time for the holiday of Sukkot which begins tomorrow night!
